House of Marley- India Launch
Bringing an eco-conscious, legacy-rooted audio brand to life in India.

Ideation
The Challenge
House of Marley is an eco-conscious, sustainability-first audio brand built on the legacy of Bob Marley. When it entered India through distribution partner Alphatec, the brand faced a dual challenge: introducing a premium, values-led proposition into a competitive audio market while building genuine community resonance — not just product awareness.

What I Owned
• Brand Communication Strategy: Developed the positioning and messaging framework for House of Marley's India market entry — identifying the audience segments most primed for a sustainability + music + legacy narrative. • Digital Strategy: Built the end-to-end India digital presence — from social channel strategy to content pillars, tone of voice, and community engagement plans. • Stakeholder Coordination: Worked extensively with national (Alphatec) and global (House of Marley HQ) stakeholders to ensure India execution was brand-faithful and globally aligned. • Campaign Execution: Managed campaign execution across digital channels, translating brand values into audience-relevant stories.
What I Learned
Market entry is a narrative problem as much as a distribution one. For a brand like House of Marley, the ‘who cares’ question is the most important strategic question. Answer it well, and the brand story sells itself. Rush past it, and you’re just another audio brand in a crowded market.
